Girl, 17, dies after dog attack inside Hunter Region home

A young girl died days after being attacked by a pet while visiting a friend’s house in the NSW Hunter region.
The 17 -year -old, described as a large mixed genus, has attacked him on Thursday after his head, his head, neck and body were critical injuries.
Emergency services were called to the house at Broughton ST in Singleton at around 11.30 on Thursday, September 4th.
He was treated by medical officials at the scene and was sent to John Hunter Hospital in a critical situation and died in the hospital on Monday (September 8th).
The domestic dog lived at home.
He has been destroyed by civil servants since then, supported by Rangers and with the consent of the owner.
