Girl’s family files case under PoCSO Act against lecturer

The girl’s family members filed a complaint with the police, saying that she was constantly sexually assaulted by her teacher.

Police registered a case under the PoCSO Act against M. Nageshwar, who works in a private college in Belagavi district.

Police said he was living in a rented room.

He was forcing students to have live-in relationships with him and “behaving as he wanted”.

He threatened to publicly insult them and kill their parents if they revealed the incident to anyone.

The complaint stated that he sexually assaulted many girls repeatedly over the course of two years.

The investigation continues.
