Giuliani allies endorse Cuomo over GOP nominee Sliwa for NYC mayor

According to reports, Rudy Giuliani’s assistants and allies threw behind Andrew Cuomo instead of Curtis Sliwa in the New York Mayor’s race.
Giuliani’s former mayor and GOP’s 2013 mayor candidate Joe Lhota New York Post Thursday in Cuomo camp on Thursday.
Lhota, who later served as Cuomo’s President of MTA and changed the party relationship to the Democrat since then, clearly frammed the election.
“This is a proven manager, a socialist and a fruit cycle.” He said.
“Of course I will be with Andrew,” Lhota added.

Anthony Carbonetti, the former Chief of General Staff of Giuliani and Senior Advisor to the 2008 presidential campaign, repeated Lhota’s feelings.
While Sliwa praised Sliwa as a “great New York”, Carbonetti said that mathematics wasn’t there to win the race. Instead, they warned Sliwa’s risk of being spoilers.
