A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 3.35pm on Monday 17 November 2025, we were called to a collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians on West Regent Street, near the junction with Wellington Street in Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and one of the pedestrians was taken to hospital, while the other was checked by paramedics at the scene.

“The road reopened around 4.30pm and investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
