‘Go Back Or Face Deportation’: Why UK Is Issuing Warning To International Students | World News

The UK warns international students: The UK government launched a major campaign for international students emphasizing strict adherence to visa rules. Students whose visas are terminated and continue to stay in the country without legal status will be deported.
Interior Minister Yette Cooper said that everyone who lives illegally in the UK will be removed. The warning comes in the midst of the increasing concern of the number of students whose visas withdrawal but remain illegal in the country.
According to a BBC news report, the Ministry of the Interior for the first time directly communicated with students through direct text messages and E -mails. Approximately 10,000 students are currently the termination of a close visa and already received warnings.

These messages clearly reveal that going beyond the validity of student visas will lead to immediate abolition. In the coming months, thousands of students are expected to receive similar notifications when the recruitment of falls and many courses have been completed.
What did the message transfer
The messages sent by the UK Ministry of Interior said to the students, “If you don’t have the legal right to stay in the UK, you should leave. If you don’t, we will remove you.”
The warning also stressed that the asylum claims that are missing merit will be rejected immediately. After studying in the UK for a while, some students try to apply for asylum and create additional difficulties for the government.
Authorities are particularly concerned about such cases that students demand asylum without any changes in the conditions in their own countries.
Cooper told BBC that some students are looking for asylum even when the conditions in their country are stable. “We will continue to support real refugees. However, if there is no change in your country, the students should not apply for asylum immediately after completing their courses,” he said.
The data obtained from the Ministry of Interior reveals that 16,000 people who applied for asylum after entering the UK, a student visa compared to 2020 last year, have an increase of six times compared to 2020. This rapid growth has led to more strict monitoring and application measures.
British’s new approach focuses on timely warnings, legal practice and open communication to enable international students to understand their obligations and the consequences of overloading.
The campaign emphasizes British efforts to tighten immigration controls and maintain legal compliance among students. By sending direct messages and applying visa expiration time, the government also aims to prevent overload and abuse of the asylum system. Authorities emphasize that legitimate refugees will receive support, while those who benefit from visas will immediately face legal results.
This initiative points to a change in the UK’s immigration strategy that reflects increasing examination and zero tolerance approach to visa violations. International students are now under clear notification to comply with the law or to be deported immediately.
