Vick Hope has revealed she is taking a break from Radio 1 to ‘be with her family’, just four months after returning to work.

The 36-year-old radio host returned to the radio show in February after welcoming 11-month-old son Micah last year.

Ahead of husband Calvin Harris’ regular club season at Ushuaïa in Ibiza, Vick said she was taking a break from work to spend the summer with her family.

Sharing a candid moment of breast pumping at work, Vick said: ‘I’ve really enjoyed getting back on air for a nice (albeit very busy) few months of gradual return from maternity/KIT days at Radio 1, getting back to work alongside my freelance contracts and commitments.

‘It’s amazing that Micah is almost 1 year old!

‘So while he is still very young and the summer touring season is approaching, this is my last show for a short while as I will be taking my final installment of leave in the coming months so our family can be together.’

Vick and Calvin, who got married in 2023, announced that baby Micah was born in August with a sweet social media post after his birth on July 20.
