Thalassery International Film Festival concludes

The Thalassery International Film Festival, organized by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy and held at the Liberty Theater complex, concluded successfully on Sunday, October 19, after four days of showcasing world cinema.
The closing ceremony was inaugurated by Minister OR Kelu and attended by important dignitaries, including Speaker AN Shamseer, who honored national award-winning actor Vijayaraghavan. The festival featured 55 outstanding international films, along with an exhibition commemorating Malayalam literature and cinema legend MT Vasudevan Nair.

The festival commemorated Thalassery’s famous music director K. Raghavan on his 12th death anniversary with a memorial resolution presented by C. Ajoy. an exhibition, Kaalam; MayachithrangalIt honored the literary contributions of Malayalam stalwart MT Vasudevan Nair.
The festival concluded with a forum open to filmmakers, a discussion program and a musical performance. Thalassery Municipality Mayor KM Jamunarani presided over the opening ceremony with the participation of local panchayat presidents, producers and Chalachitra Academy members.
