Governor inaugurates All India Police Football Championship in Hyderabad

Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla inaugurated the 74th BN Mullick All India Police Football Championship 2025-26 at Gachibowli Stadium on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, highlighting the critical role of sports in strengthening police personnel both physically and mentally.

Speaking at the meeting, the Governor said sports were not just for recreation but were the “lifeblood” of effective policing, promoting discipline, teamwork and resilience. He noted that such qualifications were necessary for police personnel to fulfill the demanding nature of their duties.
