TikTok owner signs deal to create U.S. joint venture

TikTok CEO Shou Chew told the app’s employees that China’s ByteDance, which owns the app, had signed binding agreements to form a joint venture for the app in the United States, as agreed in a deal with the Trump administration. NBC News’ Brian Cheung has more on the latest announcement.
