Congress says ‘far deeper reasons’ behind Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s resignation

Congress, July 22, 2025 Tuesday, Jagdeep Dhankhar’ın vice president of the resignation of the health reasons for the resignation of the “much deeper reasons” claimed that he said, and his resignation spoke too much, he said.

The Congress also called for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convince Mr. Dhankhar to change his mind.

Mr. Dhankhar had recently had angioplasty at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi.

In his active position as the President of Rajya Sabha, Mr. Dhankhar had several races with the opposition, which took action to influence him.

The move in India, for the first time to remove a Vice President, was rejected by Harivansh, Vice President of Rajya Sabha.
