Gregory Vaughn, 72, and Kim Worner, 66, identified as couple on board a light plane that vanished over the Bass Strait

A Tasmanian couple who lost their light planes from the northern coast of the province could not reach their arrival points three days ago.
72-year-old Gregory Vaughan, his partner Kim Worner, 66 and his dogs Molly, Green Bristell S-LSA planes have not been seen or heard since George Town Airport on Saturday at 12.45 hours.
The plane was planned to come to the center of NSW later on that day, but never came down and asked the family and friends to raise the alarm.
Nick Clark, the Police Inspector of Tasmania, said that the missing couple has not been in contact with anyone or aviation officials since they left George Town.
On Tuesday, a police helicopter survey of the northern coastal lane of Tasmania between George Town and Turners beach could not find any views of the plane.
Return air and low cloud, search conditions complex, while the boats did not go into the water due to rough conditions.

Inspector Clark said the police would continue to search for Wednesday.
“Important sources have been used in the search and POL AIR will continue to be used within the next two days, while searching efforts will be re -evaluated based on the new information available,” he said.
“The longer the longer, the longer their worries are for their welfare.
“If someone has information that can help search, if he has seen a plane that matches this definition, or if he has noticed something like an unusual debris on land or water, they should contact the Tazmanian police.”
