Gresham man stabbed 86-year-old in Fred Meyer parking lot before trying to steal Porsche

Portland, Ore. (KOIN) – A Gresham man was sentenced to more than six years in prison on Friday after stabbing an old man three times before trying to steal his Porsche in December 2024.

31-year-old Jesus Ascenio-Molina was found guilty of second-degree robbery and second-degree attack.

On December 27, 2024, Ascenio-Molina arrived at the 86-year-old man uploading a grocery store to a car in Fred Meyer in Ave.

Clackamas County Da’s office said, “(Ascenio-Molina) Porsche Panamera, 2011, said that he admired Porsche Panamera 2011 and stabbed him twice in the back and once in the right rib cage.”

Ascenio-Molina fled to an nearby apartment complex, but was arrested two hours later.

Ascenio-Molina apologized to the sacrifice in court and said that he did not think straight ”.
