Grooming gangs inquiry to be led by former children’s commissioner

A former children’s commissioner will chair the government’s gang grooming inquiry.

Baroness Anne Longfield will chair the inquiry, which was derailed in October when four women from the survivors panel resigned and two leading candidates to chair the inquiry withdrew.
