Speaking after the match, Parag praised the execution of the death strategy and particularly highlighted Jurel’s contribution in shaping the bowling changes. He also backed Jurel’s batting potential, suggesting the team was yet to fully utilize his talent and signaling a move up the batting order.
With the win, Rajasthan Royals moved to the top of the IPL 2026 points table with four points from two matches and a strong net run rate of +2,233. Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans suffered their second consecutive defeat, the first instance of losing both the opening matches in an IPL season.
Rajasthan Royals will next face Mumbai Indians looking to continue their winning momentum.
