Izz Al-Din Al-Haddad, President of Hamas’s Military Wing, opposed Donald Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan. In a report, the BBC said that al-Haddad’s peace plan aims to finish the Palestinian militant outfit and therefore understood that he should continue to fight against the Jewish nation. It is believed that some political leaders of the militant organization want to accept the 20 -point peace plan. These Qatar -based leaders are open to accepting it with a few settings. However, it has limited effects and there is no control of hostages held by the group. Hamas is believed to have 48 Israeli hostages living only 20 of them.
HAMAS leaders against the Gaza Peace Plan
Some of Hamas’s leaders are contrary to the peace plan, as all dead and living hostages require the release of single bargaining chips. There is a lack of confidence for Israel because Benjamin Netanyahu will not be sure that the troops will withdraw the troops after the release of hostages. They also see the deployment of a “temporary international stability force” as a new form of occupation of the US and Arab troops in Gaza.
Hamas has no trust in Benjamin Netanyahu
Hamas thinks that Netanyahu could not implement some points of the peace plan, and he insisted that the Israeli army could stay in part of Gaza and that Israel would “force” the Palestinian state. Previously, Hamas said that he would never surrender with the most open terms and would not release weapons.
More than 66,000 people were killed in the attacks of the Israeli Defense Forces, which were launched after Hamas killed more than 1,200 people and took 251 people hostage on 7 October 2023.
