Harry goes trick-or-treating with Meghan – but forgets 1 key thing | Royal | News

The Sussexes were spotted trick-or-treating with their kids in California — but Prince Harry apparently forgot one important thing: his costume. Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet reportedly wore insect-themed outfits for the spooky tradition on Friday, but the Duke apparently decided against the fancy dress.

Photos show Duke instead rocking brown shoes, blue jeans, and a navy blue polo, along with sunglasses and a light blue hat. Meghan can be seen wearing black tracksuit, white sneakers, dark sunglasses and what reports describe as butterfly wings. The couple previously revealed in the four-part 2022 Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan that Halloween holds a special place in their hearts.

While their relationship was about to be exposed in the media, they shared that they had a secret night out during the spooky season of 2016.

Meghan said: “Harry said, ‘If it’s coming out tomorrow, let’s go and have fun tonight.’

“So we said, ‘This might be our last chance to go out and have fun in the world.'”

The Sussexes moved to California in 2020 after stepping down as senior Royals and living in Montecito.

But the family was spotted trick-or-treating on a suburban street near Santa Barbara. Daily Mail.

According to the Mail, 6-year-old Archie was wearing an ant costume and 4-year-old Lilibet was dressed as a green firefly.

Days earlier, the Sussexes had joined in the Halloween celebrations by visiting a pumpkin patch.

On Sunday, Meghan shared a video on her Instagram account of Archie and Lilibet looking around before clips of the family carving pumpkins at home.

The Sussexes’ trick-or-treating appearance comes after a tumultuous week for the Royal Family.

The King decided on Thursday to formally strip his brother Andrew of the titles of Prince and Duke of York, as well as his HRH title, over his links to pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

He is now known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and has always strongly denied any wrongdoing.

Andrew also agreed to leave his 30-room Royal Lodge mansion in Windsor Great Park.
