Harvard charges $13K for DEI training on bias and privilege issues

A DEI certification at Harvard University promises to teach students how to spot “bias” and “create a plan to address real-world organizational challenges.” DEI,” all for $13,760 each.

Offered by Harvard’s Department of Continuing Education, the course says it will help students “become a strong voice for strategic change within your organization” and “gain critical knowledge and skills to address bias and marginalization and promote an inclusive corporate culture.”

Some of the courses announced as part of the certificate program include “Understanding Race and Racism,” “Riots, Strikes, and Conspiracies in American History,” and “Justice.”

Harvard’s focus on DEI may not be worth the investment, Nikki Neily, president and founder of Defending Education, told Fox News Digital.

“The DEI industry has collapsed in the last few years, so investing in a DEI certification that provides ahistorical, biased information strikes me as a particularly poor life choice and an option unlikely to provide students with any return on investment,” Neily said.

“The American people clearly have no appetite for the federal government to forgive loans for such low-value programs — and the sooner colleges stop such programs that trap students in debt, the better,” he added.
