Haryana CM says 1.69 lakh farmers register for crop damage claims

Chandigarh, September 7 (PTI) Haryana Prime Minister Nayab Singh Saini, a total of 1.69 Lakh farmers in the state of 9.96 Lakh turning crop for crop damage allegations of a web portal, he said.

The E-Kshatipurti Portal has been open to facilitate the recording of demands for farmers’ flooding and crop damage caused by the latest floods.

Through this portal, farmers can upload details of damages to their crops and file compensation requests.

Saini claimed that the state government had completely stopped by farmers who faced difficulties in various parts of Haryana.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Punjab and Himachal Pradesh marked 25 truck loads for the relief material.

Speaking with reporters, Saini said that there should be no politics about natural disaster.

“Some people play politics. But it is our duty to serve people.”

Answering a question, Saini said that there was water light in low areas in Haryana.

“I met a few people yesterday and today I met more people. Together I addressed everyone to confront this natural disaster.” He said.

Saini said he asked the farmers who had crop damage to register for the E-Kshatipurti portal.

Saini, “E-Kshatipurti portal through the 1.69,738 farmer 9,96.701 acres of land registered. Portal is open. We are with farmers.” He said.

CM also said that there was a loss of life and property due to the collapse of the roofs of some houses during the rains.

Financial assistance La4 Lakh is provided to families affected by the state government.

Responding to a question, Saini said that the natural disaster hit Punjab, wrote to the prime minister of the neighboring state and provided all the help.

Saini said that the aid material was continuously sent from Haryana to Punjab and that 15 trucks were sent with relief materials loaded even today.

Later, Saini met people from various villages on his way from Narwana to Tohana.

Saini said that the state government stood closely with the state people during this natural disaster clock.

Wherever plants or other damages occur due to heavy rains, compensation will be achieved.

Saini stopped in the village of Dharodi, father Jamin Nath Gaushala and interacted with the local to stock the situation. He made sure that all possible help would be provided to the villagers, especially farmers.

In addition, during the rain season to closely follow water pressure and take steps for drainage wherever necessary, all assistant commissioner, as well as the income and irrigation departments reported that the officers were given special instructions.

Saini visited the water -filled areas near Naggal village in the Ambala region. On the way to Kaithal from Chandigarh, CM stopped near Naggal/Hasanpur to review the situation and interacted with the affected farmers.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) reported that approximately 28,000 acres of land in the Ambala city Tehsil were affected.

Goyal suggested that a siphon construction can greatly solve the issue of flooding in the region.

The CM directed DC to prepare a comprehensive action plan for this study, and if possible, a permanent solution to the drainage problem, and led to preparing a framework to build a evacuation to prevent these situations in the future.

Saini also met with the affected farmers and led the officials to operate engines near the drainage in Adomajra Dam to quickly drainage of rainwater.
