“Railway Recruitment Panels (RRBS) has been conducting computer -based tests (CBTS) for more than 1.86 Crore candidates for seven different notifications containing 55.197 gaps since November 2024.” He said.

“This will allow RRBs to make an appointment to more than 50,000 islands in 2025-26 financially. In the first quarter of this fiscal year, RRBS has already been given more than 9,000 appointments,” he added.

The ministry said that the execution of CBTs for RRB exams is a major exercise that requires a lot of planning and coordination.

According to the press note, RRBs recently said that candidates have taken an attempt to allocation centers closer to the residence places with special preferences for candidates and comparison disabled people.

This also added that more examination center requires suspension and the examination of the exam in a fair and transparent way.

The Ministry has already published 12 notifications for 1,08,324 empty positions since 2024, according to the annual calendar published by the RRBs, and more than 50,000 appointments will be made in the next financial year 2026-27.

The Ministry, which deals with the steps taken in order to increase the fairness of the exams, said, “E-KYC-based AADHAR authentication was used to confirm the identity of the candidates who achieved more than 95% success in such large-scale exams.” He said.
