HC dismisses woman CPO’s anticipatory bail plea

The Supreme Court of Kerala rejected Santhy Krishnan, a female civilian police officer (CPO), who worked as a writer in Muvattepuzha Traffic Execution Unit and accused of ₹ 20.90 Lakh melody from 2009 to 2021.

He was also accused of the prevention of the Corruption Law.

The prosecution objected to the prescribed guarantee, claimed that he would prevent the investigation and defeat the meaningful prosecution.

A justice bench A. Badharudeen said that the allegations of the case and a bank statement that the allegations against him would show that the well -established Prima Facie. The court is not a suitable case to give the prescribed guarantee, but the court refused and rejected the appeal while directing it to surrender before the investigation officer.
