Govt taking steps to curb cyber crimes: Jyotiraditya Scindia

Union Communication Minister Jyytiraditya Sindia, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, the government’s statement to prevent cyber crimes, including the establishment of a digital intelligence platform is taking various measures.

Mr. Smindia said that Lok Sabha took four to five major measures to communicate and home ministries to deal with cyber crimes.

The Digital Intelligence Platform (DIP) brings together various stakeholders.

Smindia, 570 banks during the question time, 36 state institutions and investigation agencies, including 620 institutions, including the cooperation, he said.

Detailing the measures taken by the Minister, 97 percent of international calls, he said.

A risk indicator (FRI) software is used in which the data on the individuals who make fraud with banks are divided into various categories. The authority said the details were given to all banks and that the process of such individuals was prevented.

Answering an additional question, Mr. Smindia said that the state’s BSNL and MTNL have returned to the recovery path.

The Minister talked about BSNL’s review meeting this week and said that a business plan would be prepared for each business circle.
