650 Cadets From 15 Institutions Attend Annual NCC Camp

Hyderabad: Weapons training, cybercrime awareness sessions and leadership exercises have begun for around 650 National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets as the annual training camp-IV began at Narapally on Friday. Students from 15 educational institutions are participating in the camp organized by 1 Telangana Battalion NCC. The program, which focuses on discipline, leadership skills, physical fitness and personality development, will last until May 31.
Training activities include classes on weapon handling, shooting practices and service-related topics. Sessions on road safety, drug abuse awareness, cybercrime prevention and defense personnel recruitment are also conducted as part of the camp programme. Inter-institutional competitions such as drills, football, tug of war, drawing, essay writing, singing and dancing are also organized at the camp to promote healthy competition and team participation. Camp management is carried out by permanent teaching staff, state government staff and auxiliary NCC officers.
