Heavy to Very Heavy Rains Forecast in Northern Telangana
Haydarabad: The Meteorology Department warned about heavy rain on Friday and Saturday. IMD said that a low -pressure area on the Bay of Bengal was intensified and moving towards Andhra and South Odisha on the northern coast. However, a surface circulation and a groove cause widespread rainfall throughout the state.
A orange warning was released for several regions and on Friday, 12 districts in 12 districts. Wednesday -Thursday morning, Kalwakurthi in the Nagarkurnool area, the state’s heaviest rainfall at 20 cm. The heavy showers also polluted Vikarabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Sureapet, Khammam, Wanaparthy, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar and Mulugu.
