Heiress Paris Hilton claims to be ‘self-made’

Paris Hilton claimed she was “self-taught.”
The 44-year-old heiress, whose parents Rick and Kathy Hilton have a combined net worth of hundreds of millions of dollars, is proud of what she has achieved with her company, 11:11 Media, which employs 25 people and claims to be worth $1 billion ($1.5 billion).
“I’m self-taught. It’s like I did it all on my own,” he told The Times newspaper.
“No one has ever given me anything in my life.”
Paris’s late grandfather Barron Hilton, who reportedly left 97 per cent of his fortune to the family charity when he died in 2019, was proud of her work ethic and they had an “extremely close” relationship.
He said: “We were extremely close and would always have lunch and dinner, and he would always say to me: ‘Paris, you work harder than any CEO I’ve ever met.
“And he says, ‘I used to be known as Barron Hilton, but now I’m known as Paris Hilton’s grandfather.’ We always laughed about it.”
The Stars are Blind hitmaker has two-year-olds Phoenix and London, who were born via surrogate in January and November 2023 respectively, with husband Carter Reum, and while she doesn’t want them to be “influencers”, she hopes they will have their own entrepreneurial streak.
She added: “If I’m in a meeting they always sit with me, so I feel like they’re already used to seeing their mom doing so many things and being successful in so many different areas.”
Having children made Paris think more about mortality, and she “became obsessed with longevity”, hoping to live well beyond the age of 100.
Discussing her plans to create a “health and longevity centre” in her home, she said: “I am obsessed with living long.
“It won’t be like any spa you’ve seen in the world. The whole room will be pink with crystals and it will look like you’re walking into another world, almost like a different planet, it’s just like this fantastical, high-tech, futuristic place.”
“I heard my friends say that it is now possible to live to 150, 160 years old.
“I wish I could live forever. I’m not afraid of many things in life except spiders and bees and dying. I’m just terrified of that.”
“Because I think if nothing happened – which I know it doesn’t – it would be so boring.”
