Helicopter crash in Huntington Beach leaves 5 people hospitalized

Five people were hospitalized in a helicopter crash in Huntington Beach, California, on Saturday, officials confirmed to Fox News Digital.
A spokesperson for the Huntington Beach Fire Department told Fox News Digital: “As of now, two people in the helicopter have been safely removed from the wreckage and three people on the street were injured.”

All five people were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, the spokesman said.

“At first I thought it was a movie,” Robinson told Fox News Digital. “It seemed like a pretty crazy trick to do. He turned around a few times and hit her. It was crazy.”

Robinson told Fox News Digital that he walks the beach almost every day and that an event called “Cars ‘N Copters on the Coast” is taking place in the area.
He added: “As I was coming down low I heard some kind of pinging noise and a piece of it flew out of the helicopter. I don’t know what it was. I have no idea. It exploded and that’s when it started going out of control.”
