Hemachandran murder: one more suspect nabbed from Wayanad

The special investigation team (SIT) created by Kozhikode city police arrested another person allegedly kidnapped and killed by a Kozhikode -based businessman Hemachandran.

Melbin Mathew, who was the defendant in the incident, was arrested on Sunday (August 17th) after collecting strong evidence showing that the police constitute the close contact with the four other partners in the alleged crime. Four Wayanad natives – PV Noushad, 33, Jyothish Kumar, 32 and BS AjESH, 27 and 28, 28 – were arrested in connection with the incident.

Police sources, Melbin’s 52 -year -old kidnapping and murder after some financial agreements behind the conspiracy, he said. They said it was in the car used for the allegation of kidnapping.

On June 28, the police initially broke the murder case, which was registered as a missing man at the Kozhikode Medical College Police Station. SIT was reset to five suspects after a 16 -month -to -month son, with the support of Kozhikode Cyber Cell and criminal team.

Hemachandran, a Wayanad native, had temporarily settled in Mayanad in Kozhikode for the special Chit fund work. SIT found that on March 29, 2024, he was kidnapped from the city of Kozhikode and later killed after some financial disputes in Wayadad. The successful healing of the secretly buried body from the Cherambadi Forest in Tamil Nadu was a great breakthrough in the investigation.
