Overweight mother-of-three, 57, forced to have gallbladder removed after just a year of taking Mounjaro

As a professional baker, Julie Reilly is surrounded by attractive treats every day and every day- so it seemed like a brain to get weight loss medication to silence food noise.
However, although the 57 -year -old is excited to lose four stones for a year, he believes that a number of events that cause gallbladder to need a gallbladder depends on using jabs.
In August 2024, when he received a special prescription for Mounjaro, 5’10 “(177.8cm) had about 32 BMI, the mother of three of the Birmingham Duran Birmingham.
At the beginning of the weight loss journey, weighing 12 stones (168 lbs), Mrs. Reilly put the medical body mass scale in the ‘obese’ category.
‘I’m just little, so it’s a lot to be a 12 -stone woman’ he said.
However, with the power of the trip – and after staying in the anguish because of the gallstone ‘rolling on the ground’ – he would never take them if he had known the risks.
Before JABs started, Mrs. Reilly suffered from stomach pain for 18 months when the GP claimed to have been dismissed as ‘menopause symptoms’.
However, after the GLP-1 drug started to use the drug, they increased both frequency and intensity.

The GLP-1s were initially developed to treat diabetes, but now it is found for patients’ appetite, but also used for weight loss-as in any drug, there is no risk of negative side effects.
Problems with gallbladder with Mounjaro – a small but vital organ that leaves bile to the bile liver to help digest fats of the body – is common.
Mounjaro’s information brochure warns that gallstones have a ‘common’ side effect of the drug and may affect ‘up to one of10 people’, while the gallbladder infection may affect one of 100.
However, although the warnings are in the brochure, Mrs. Reilly says that if these risks were more clearly explained to him, he would not take the jabs.
He said: ‘Actually, they don’t say, nobody tells you that it may cause gallstones.
They don’t ask if you have a gallbladder problem [before you take the jab].
“ If I knew it caused gallstones, I wouldn’t have taken it in the first place.
There is everything there when you take medicine [in the information leaflet]Reactions and things like that, I think I’m not enough if I am honest.

They said when I asked one of the doctors [illnesses like this] It is caused by rapid weight loss. In proportion to my body, I lost four stones because I lost too much weight.
“ They could give more warnings on the goods. As far as I can see, everyone can get it now. ‘
Mrs. Reilly ran to A & E in January this year after leaving the ‘stabbing’ pains on the ground in the stomach.
In May, he was referred to a several gallstones for an ultrasound.
After a series of infections, the gallbladder had to be removed in August.
Mrs. Reilly said: ‘I had problems before the skinny jab, but I did not associate with my gallbladder.
‘When I ate, I started to suffer. I pass through menopause and at first they [doctors] He blamed it in menopause.
‘Everything you receive is accused of menopausal symptoms. When I started to take these pains in my stomach, they told me at first.
He could only go away from work to get rid of his operation
I decided to go to Mounjaro in August last year. I think it’s getting worse.
“ I have never experienced such a pain, literally I was rolling on the ground, I could not stand up. Stabbing pain, severe fatigue. ‘
Shortly after the operation, Mrs. Reilly returned to the kitchen, caught the madness of the wedding season – this said it affected the healing.
The gallbladder is now out. Not just because it was in Mounjaro, I actually lost a lot of weight because I couldn’t eat.
Finally, if I look at something oily, it made me sick.
“ I just spent a week, I wasn’t good, I don’t know how I was going back to work, but I didn’t want to disappoint anyone.
“ I don’t even know how I did this. I was in pain.
As a wedding cake manufacturer, it is very difficult for me to do any surgery. I never afforded to allocate during the wedding season, I was completely determined. ‘

However, despite the brutal pain of the gallstones and the trauma of the gallbladder removal, Jabbing still does not want to sacrifice the last shots of expensive appetite bending.
He said: ‘I have four weeks at this end [of Mounjaro] And then I get off. People say I don’t look like the same person. ‘
