Two arrested including boy, 15, over ‘arson attack’ on London restaurant

Two people, including a young child, were arrested for a suspicious arson attack that left five victims to a restaurant in East London with serious injuries.
Officers were called to the restaurant on Friday at 9.00 on Woodford Boulevard in Ilford. According to the police, five people were rescued from the fire that left a life -threatening man and a woman.
Detectives arrested a 15 -year -old child and a 54 -year -old man on suspicion of arson to endanger life on Sunday. The police are in custody to question.
The police also said that they were looking for two more victims they believed to have been done before the officers arrived. The London Fire Brigade said that they had brought five people from the restaurant with it, and nine people said that they had previously left.
Metropolitan police said that the investigations continue at “speed ve and that everyone who has more information appealed to come to the fore.
Mark Rogers, the detective chief inspector of the MET’s Central Specialist Crime Northern Unit, said, “When making two arrests, our investigation continues in Pace, so we can bring together what happened on Friday evening.
“I know that the community is concerned about this incident and shocked.
