Pleasantly surprising everyone, Kartik Aaryan joined Himesh Reshammiya at his Mumbai concert on Sunday (November 16). In the video uploaded by Kartik on his official Instagram account, Himesh is seen trolling himself. “Regular gaau ya naak se? (Should I sing with my nose or my normal voice?)” asked the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor. After hearing this, a loud voice was heard from the crowd saying “Naak se (sing through your nose)”.

Himesh then gave his own rendition of the title track of Kartik’s upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri with his iconic style and voice. Fans went crazy watching the duo share the stage. Sharing the video on Instagram, the Chandu Champion actor added a red heart and hat emoticon and wrote, “Legendary.”

Kartik’s appearance at the concert kicked off promotions for his upcoming Christmas album. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, who directed Kartik in Satyaprem Ki Katha, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri stars Ananya Panday as the female lead. This marks Kartik and Ananya’s second on-screen collaboration after 2019’s Pati Patni Aur Woh, which also starred Bhumi Pednekar.

Tu Meri Ana Tera Ana Tera Tu Meri is produced by Karan Johar of Adar Poonawalla’s Dharma Productions and Shareen Mantri Kedia of Kishor Arora’s Namah Pictures. This marks Kartik and Karan’s first collaboration after the much-publicised Dostana 2, which is expected to star Janhvi Kapoor, Lakshya and Kartik in lead roles.

The Sameer Vidwans directorial was initially set to release on New Year’s Eve on December 31, but it was postponed a week in advance for a Christmas release on December 25. It will clash at the box office with war drama Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda, Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
