Cate Blanchett laments that the #MeToo movement ‘got killed very quickly’ in Hollywood

“There are a lot of people who have platforms and can speak relatively safely and say this happened to me,” Blanchett said. “And the so-called average woman on the street, the person on the street is saying MeToo. Why is she being shut down?”
Blanchett attended a red carpet protest in 2018 when she was the jury president at Cannes.
