Women in missing middle struggle during divorce process

Survivors from domestic violence and financial abuse cannot be separated because they cannot meet the legal wages associated with divorce, and they are stuck in relationships.

There has been an increase in service demand for women and families in the ‘Missing Middle’ – not suitable for legal assistance, but still could not receive a lawyer.

Many people who have undergone divorce have to accept unfair settlements, because they cannot afford to fight because they are right.

This is a story that wants AAP to hide her full name because of privacy, after spending a de facto relationship with a man who exposes him to financial, physical and emotional abuse.

Although he had his own money and assets when he got into a relationship, his ex -lover took over the couple’s finance.

However, when he tried to leave, he launched a campaign to consume it financially and emotionally, locked him from the bank accounts, refused to deliver documents and hide assets in secret accounts.

“He was a vicious and annoying plaintiff, and he continued to ignite the law team, so that he would be postponed.” He said.

Psychological Counselor Naomi Pearce said that many perpetrators can delay the tactics that increase legal wages and armed the court system.

Thanks to the TFA Legal company, together with O and other psychologists, lawyers and social workers, not only the legal consequences, but also a trauma -related service that deals with the emotional and financial welfare of women traveling in high conflict separations and abuse.

“What we’re trying to do is to remove someone’s ability to use the family court’s system to ruin someone’s life.” He said.

He continued: “We help women to cope and stand there, only to deal with everything in the legal process, to protect their rights and to advance in their lives.”

KathY was advised to contact Justfund, an organization that provides a flexible loan line based on the expected family solution rather than revenues, credit scores or employment situations.

“The court system is an unfair playground … I was completely broken when I got help from Justfund,” he said.

Since the launch, Justfund has opened more than $ 1 billion and has helped more than 2300 Australians to reach the legal representative.

The founding partners started their careers as a lawyer Jack O’Donnell and Andy O’Connor, but they saw that many customers have returned by their companies.

“I remember a single mother who has a relationship with their assets but has no financial resources to pay our wages, and this really came to the forefront.” He said.

“We wanted to take advantage of our legal experience to design a non -existent solution, but we knew that it could be a life -saving for individuals.”

Justfund customers overwhelm women and many of them earn only 35 percent of their income of their ex -spouses.

Mr. O’Connor said the service aims to balance the playground in the legal system.

The service not only for those who survived the DV, but more than 64 percent of its customers experienced financial abuse or compelling control.

“Divorce is really difficult to travel emotionally and financially,” O’donnell said. He said.

“We see a real problem since hundreds of thousands of people who are stuck in unhealthy relationships in Australia cannot be separated.”

“We are trying to strengthen people in essence the passing of something really difficult,” he said.

He continued: “Chained to be chained due to lack of financing for divorce, should not be so difficult.”

Pearce said that women are constantly going through the costs of judicial assistance and high legal services from insufficient welded.

“We see women who are legally supported or entitled to assets, but trauma with what they live in.

“They don’t just have emotional capacity to continue, and without support, they get away from everything they owe.”
