Homeless man fighting for life after brutal assault on the Gold Coast
A homeless man fought for his life after a brutal attack at Gold Coast.
Police said that the 54 -year -old child, who had no fixed address, was attacked at 12.30 at the corner of Scarborough and Young Sts in Southport on Wednesday.
A 29 -year -old Southport woman is allegedly approached the man, then kicked and shot again and repeatedly before stealing her bag.
A Queensland ambulance service spokesman said the man was experiencing a “an important head trauma”.
He ran to Gold Coast University Hospital and stayed in a critical situation in an induced coma.
Officers quickly followed the woman to the nearby High St and soon arrested her.
No accusation was made.
Investigations continue. The police call on everyone who has knowledge to come to the fore.
