The fourth volume of the book series Raja Ravi Varma: An Eternal Imprint – Imagined Epics It will be unveiled by His Highness Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar (HHSNW) Foundation at an event to be held at Mysuru Palace on January 31.
In the statement made by Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, who is also the President of the Foundation, it was stated that the book will be launched on January 31 at 17.30 at the Chandrashale Thotti Sabhangana in Mysuru Palace.
“This volume explores images related to Ramayana and Mahabharata,” Ms. Wadiyar said on January 25.
He said Raja Ravi Varma enjoyed the patronage of the Wadiyars of Mysore, especially Maharaja Chamaraja Wadiyar X and Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV, who commissioned several of his iconic works that brought his themes to life. Ramayana And Mahabharata.
The venue where the book will be promoted is considered special because it is located in the old part of the palace, which was previously used for cultural events and as a yoga rock. He said it was recently renovated by the Foundation.
“We are pleased to announce that the book launch will be the opening event of this historic venue,” he said, adding that the venue is special with limited seating.
