A man has admitted to killing a woman who was hit by a minivan on a golf course in April 2025.
Dashcam footage shows the van driven by John McDonald, 52, leading police on a high-speed chase before driving to the golf course at Aston Wood Golf Club in Shenstone.
Suzanne Cherry, a 62-year-old mother of three, died when she was hit by a minibus while playing golf with her husband on April 11, and died four days later at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
McDonald admitted causing death by dangerous driving and was sentenced at Worcester Crown Court along with his passengers: His son Johnny McDonald, 23, and Brett Delaney, 35, pleaded guilty to conspiring with John McDonald to commit fraud by carrying out dangerous roofing work.
