Horror as pensioner, 75, stomped on in neighbour row over dog poo | UK | News

This is the disgusting moment a 75-year-old grandmother was beaten to the ground after asking a passerby to clean up dog poop. In horrific scenes, Linda Scott was pushed to the ground and hit repeatedly with blows and a kick to the head after she tried to object to her incompetent dog owners.

Ms. Scott told News12 she was hospitalized following the attack, which took place in the front yard of her home and left her bleeding from her nose and mouth. A young woman in a bright pink hoodie carries out most of the attack on Ms Scott, which was captured on video by a doorbell camera on Monday.

During the terrifying incident, Ms Scott is seen trying to defend herself as a barrage of punches and kicks rain down on her. The attack eventually ends with his son coming out to see what happened.

Ms Scott’s shocked family said she suffered bruising to her face in the incident but is expected to make a full recovery. According to local US media, the New York Police Department said the attacker was still at large as of Friday, April 10.

Speaking to News12 Ms Scott said: “I tried to call 911. I think there was an open phone number, but I couldn’t do it because I was shaking so much.”

Ms Scott, who lives in New York’s Crown Heights, said she was shocked by the brutality of the attack, adding: “The young lady had no right to beat me like that. She had no right to beat me like that, or any old person. Anyone. Period.”

Her son, Michael Scott, rushed to his mother’s aid when he heard the commotion outside.

He told News12: “The woman came, she accelerated, she walked like she was walking really fast, she came over here and started punching my mom, knocking her to the ground, kicking her in the face.

“My mother was bleeding from her mouth and nose. I have never seen my mother bleed a day in my life.”

The Scott family said the vacant lot next to their property had become a problem because dog owners were allowing their pets to defecate there and not cleaning up after themselves. They are hopeful that the owner of the area will put up a fence.

Undeterred by her ordeal, Ms Scott said she would “hopefully” be around for a while and that she had “grandchildren to help look after”.
