Hosepipe ban comes in for millions more Brits – check if you’re impacted | UK | News

Water company South East Water announced a Hosepipe ban on Kent and Sussex.

Since May, the company states the record levels of drinking water demand in two districts.

One statement said: “With the ongoing hot and dry air, we all use much more water than usual.”

“This situation left us no other option than restricting the use of Hosepipes and fountains, so we can help improve our reservoirs and underground water storage.”

South East Water says he’s watching the situation in some parts of Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, where it operates.
