Hot air balloon crash in Brazil kills at least eight

Local and state officials, Brazil’s Southern Santa Catarina province of 21 passengers fell at least eight people after the hot air balloon, he said.

The images shared by the local News Outlet G1 showed the fluctuations of smoke coming from the balloon in flames while moving to the ground.

Governor Jorginho Mello, in a video in X, “We are in mourning. There was a tragedy. We will see how it emerged, what it is, why it is. But now the important thing is that the state structure does its best.” He said.

Mello said that he wanted the authorities to go to the municipality “to save, help, take it to the hospital, do as much as possible to relieve families,” he said.

Praia Grande is a common place for the hot air balloon, which is a popular activity in some parts of Brazil at the June festivals, which celebrates Catholic saints such as Saint John.

Last Sunday, a balloon fell into the state of Sao Paulo, killed a 27 -year -old woman and wounded 11 people.
