One of the Democratic senators who Donald Trump said should be executed for sedition is not backing down. Sen. Elissa Slotkin, one of six prominent Democratic lawmakers and veterans featured in a video urging U.S. troops and intelligence officials to reject illegal orders, said on The Daily Beast Podcast that military personnel have since expressed pain at her for following questionable orders. “Of course, since we made the video, people have been coming up to us to say, ‘Hey, we’re raising this concern among ourselves,'” the Michigan lawmaker said. “This didn’t come out of nowhere.”
