Houthis statement as prime minister killed by Israel in ‘martyrdom’ | World | News

Yemen’s Houthi Rebellion Movement confirmed that Prime Minister Ahmed Gha are killed in Israeli air strikes at the beginning of this week. The number of losses from the air strike in Sanaa on Thursday remains uncertain. Israeli media, referring to anonymous sources, reported that the Israeli army targeted the entire Houthi cabinet, including the prime minister and other 12 ministers. According to local health officials, the strike follows the previous attacks that killed 10 people on August 24 and wounded over 90.

Since the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis often fired the missiles to Israel and targeted commercial ships in the Gulf of Red Sea and Aden, claiming to act to support Palestinians. In response, Israel carried out air strikes in areas controlled by Houthis in Yemen.

Hamdah Salhut from Al Jazeera said that Israeli’s Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz will continue to target its goals, said the strikes to Yemen is not enough to determine the launch of the group.
