Man charged with murder of Susan Goodwin more than two decades after her disappearance

More than twenty years after his disappearance in Port Lincoln, a man was accused of the suspicious murder of a South Australian woman.

Susan Goodwin’s remnants of the human remnants, the woman’s disappearance and killed after 23 years ago, buried in a backyard.

On Thursday, Port Lincoln will appear at the Magistrate Court.

Andrew Macrae, Deputy of the Great Crime Investigation Branch, said that the breakthrough follows an ongoing examination of the cold case and all the existing evidence.

“It doesn’t matter how old the case is, we will continue to review all the existing evidence and seek opportunities to solve the issue,” he said.

“We did not discover these ruins without knowledge from the public.

“I will come to the forefront about any murder by communicating directly with the police or contacting the crime staps.”

There is an award of up to $ 200,000 for the information that led to the conviction of MS Goodwin’s remains and the conviction of suspicious murder.
