How an auto driver helped bust child trafficking ring in Tamil Nadu in 2009

For D. Joseph, an Automatic Czech Driver in Tamil Nadu, was just a journey from Tiruchi State Hospital to the bus stance on 2 June 2009. Passengers were a middle -aged woman and a baby. However, a few minutes after moving away from the hospital, the baby began to cry uncontrollably. The way the woman took the little girl looked unusual.
On a typical day, at least a few times between Mr. Joseph hospital and bus stop, patients, participants, staff, etc. He perceived the foul game, returned to the hospital and deployed the police outside. Until then, Susila, a young mother, had reached by complaining that she had taken her baby.
Timely warning
A police team ran to the bus stop and then caught the woman described as Dhan Alias Dhanamani from the Coimbatore region. The baby girl was rescued and delivered to her mother. If the automatic driver had not warned the police on time, the detection would take much longer, because there was not much scope for CCTV images and other technical evidence at that time.
Dhanam became friends with Kolidam Susila in the hospital and offered to arrange financial assistance. He promised to facilitate the sanction of funds within a plan for girls and took the baby under the pretext of taking photos in a nearby photo studio. While Susila waited for her to return, the defendant had reached the bus stance.
More in the store
For the police, it was a relief to resolve the case within a few hours. They didn’t know there was a shock in the store. The questioning of Dhanam revealed a larger child lifting network in Tamil Nadu and a few suspected NGOs operating the illegal child adoption centers.
The police learned that Dhanam, a widow, had married Annur from Annur in the Coimbatore region. He started to work as an agent organizing female workers for the rotating mills in the western regions of the state. Paramasivam, two of Dhanam’s offensive partners, arrested Raja and Muthusamy and saved six babies from facilities. The suspects were ready to adopt fake birth certificates and other documents, ready to adopt babies, and wrote in a magazine published by the state police of the investigation officer (IO).
CB-CID took over
Rajan, who ruled the illegal adoption center, was arrested and detained on the basis of more suspicious statements. This led to the recovery of several babies from smugglers’ clutches. Police General Manager, who perceived the weight of the crime, handed over the case to the CID (CB-CID) for further investigation.

The other three children were sold to Muthusamy, a bus driver working with Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) and 20,000 for each baby. He actively participated in the regulation of infants for illegal adoption centers. Some suspects involved in the abduction of babies were identified and detained.
The defendant directed the police to the parents who accepted babies illegally. Approximately 15 photographs of children were published in the newspapers with CB-CID and objected to parents who have been incomplete complaints to contact the IO throughout the state if they found their babies among the rescued children.
At least 12 children were rescued from suspects and delivered to their biological parents. In addition to Dhanam, Rajan and Muthusamy, who played a key role in the interchange rackets of children’s traders, Chargeset against eight people.
