Tata Motors announced PB Balaji as the Executive Officer of Jaguar Land Rover (CEO). This will lead the luxury car manufacturer of Tata Motors by an Indian manager for the first time. Balaji will take over the highest level of task from November 2025. This development follows JLR’s current chief Adrian Mardell’s latest pension plan. It brings its experience in automotive and consumer goods industries in balaji, finance and supply chain functions.
Who is PB BALAJİ?
Since November 2017, BALAJİ has been working as Group Chief Financial Affairs Manager at TATA Motors. He is a member of the Tata Motors Executive Committee and is located on the boards of various TATA group companies, including Jaguar Land Rover Otomotiv PLC (UK), Tata Motors Passenger vehicles, Tata Passould Electric Motorism and Air India.
PB BALAJI career
He started his career in 1995 with Unilever and worked in different corporate finance roles in Switzerland, England and India in Asian markets. As CFO, he joined Tata Motors after his last post with Hindustan Unilever, whom he chaired the finance function.
