Eugenie’s husband ‘refuses to let Sarah Ferguson move in | Royal | News

Princess Eugenie’s husband reportedly follows a strict rule when it comes to their home amid the ever-emerging Epstein scandal. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s youngest daughter remains a target of his relationship with convicted pedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

The former prince was stripped of all his titles and arrested in February on suspicion of abuse of public office. He has always strongly denied the charges against him and has been released under investigation.

Disgraced Sarah has not been seen in public since December, when she attended the christening of Princess Beatrice’s daughter Athena at St James’s Palace in London.

Her exact whereabouts remained a mystery after she and her ex-husband were forced to leave the Royal Lodge in Windsor, where they had lived for almost 20 years.

But the former Duchess of York hasn’t moved in with any of her daughters, and sources say Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank won’t allow it.

According to a source close to the family, Jack has a “code of honour”; which means he won’t “completely abandon Andrew and Sarah” but will “not put himself in the line of fire.”

The source said Mail: “His first commitment has to be to his wife and two young children. This whole sordid affair has already caused them a huge amount of unwarranted attention and he will do nothing to increase it.”

The owner of a consultancy firm is reportedly worried about the impact the scandal will have on his business and that his family will be “tainted by the fraternity”.

The source added: “Jack has worked hard to build his business and it’s going well, so the last thing he needs is for the Epstein scandal to taint that. So he’ll do whatever he can to keep his head under the parapet.”

The couple are reportedly hoping Sarah Ferguson won’t want to move in with them. A second source said: “Eugenie and Jack are resisting any suggestion her mother should come and live with them.

“Because frankly Sarah is difficult to live with and they don’t want the responsibility of looking after her right now. That doesn’t mean they aren’t concerned about her well-being; they just don’t want her to live with them even temporarily.”

Sarah Ferguson’s past friendship with Epstein and what is mentioned in the Epstein files do not indicate any wrongdoing.

Beatrice and Eugenie did not comment on the matter.
