Man dies after medical incident at Margate Drum and and Bass Festival as event forced to shut early and crowds evacuated
A man died after having a medical event at a popular music festival.
The Margate Drum and Bas Festival were forced to close with crowds released by the police early on Saturday, June 28th.
The city police have now confirmed that a man in his twenties died in the hospital.
A police spokesman said: “The city police were informed of a report that a man who was taken to hospital after a medical incident in Dreamland on Saturday, June 28, 2025 in his 20s.
“Officers are investigating the conditions of death that are not believed to be suspicious. A report is being prepared for Coroner.”
