Other Nations Also Enrich Uranium – So Why Is Only Iran A Global Villain? | World News

New Delhi: Uranium enrichment is not rare. Argentina makes. Brazil. So is Japan. Even the Netherlands. They all develop Uranium for peaceful reasons, mainly for energy. No drama. No threat. No sanctions.
Then there is Iran. The same process. The same science. But a global fire storm. Warnings from Washington. Air attacks from Israel. Sanctions. Suspicion. From where?
Let’s break it up.
The same process, different perception
Enrichment means increasing the concentration of uranium-235. Natural uranium only holds only 0.7% of this. Power reactors need approximately 3-5%. Nuclear bombs should be more than 90%.
Countries like Argentina and Japan keep enrichment below 5%. No surprise. No secrets. Always under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) clock.
Iran did not stop at 5%. He went to 60 %. This is far above the energy needs. Only one step away from the gun class material. IAEA, the United Nations nuclear energy keeper, marked it over and over again. He says Iran holds more than 400 kg of 60%, which is enough to make 10 nuclear bombs.
‘Privacy’ increasing suspicion
It was claimed that Iran’s nuclear journey was not transparent. In 2009, a secret facility appeared in Fordow by Western intelligence, not by Tehran. Before that, the AMAD project (an Iranian scientific project to develop nuclear weapons) investigated quietly armed until 2003.
And now, IAEA inspectors are routinely rejected. In 2025, for the first time in twenty years, IAEA officially announced Iran by violating its obligations.
Compare this with Brazil, the Netherlands or Japan. The programs remain open and collaborator. There is no hidden shelter. No hidden centrifugal.
Regional Firetrap
Iran lives in a variable neighborhood – Israel, Saudi Arabia and US bases Gulf nations. Always close to the surface.
Iranian leaders made fiery statements against Israel. Some of them called their destruction. This changes the way the world is seeing Tehran’s nuclear work.
Israel does not take the chance. In 2025, Iran launched Airstrikes in its nuclear areas – Natanz, Fordow and more. The United States supported it. The message is high and clear – Iran’s nuclear increase will not be tolerated.
None of the other uranium -enricing countries face such hostility from their neighbors. No threat. No attack. There is no risk of regional war.
Technology through ‘backdoor’
It was claimed that Iran has not always developed its nuclear technology legally. It has been reported that Aq Khan from Pakistan entered the Khan network and bought pieces from shaded sellers in Europe. This alleged history still bothers him.
Other countries built their systems through public and internationally accepted channels. No smuggling, no cover.
JCPOA GAMBLE, COLLECTION
In 2015, Iran signed six global powers of the Common Action Plan (JCPOA). He agreed to limit enrichment, reduce stocks and allow inspections. In contrast, the sanctions were relieved.
In 2018, President Donald Trump issued the United States. The sanctions are back. Iran was claimed to increase the enrichment again. Uranium stock was reported to be 22 times higher than the JCPOA boundaries by 2025.
The agreement collapsed. Trust was shattered.
The symbol of sovereignty or challenge?
The nuclear program for Iran is a matter of national pride. An attitude towards what he sees as Western dominance. Leaders say that enrichment is a matter of rights and a matter of dignity.
But for Washington and Tel Aviv, it seems to be a potential way to challenge, threat and bomb.
Japan does not speak this language and does not speak Brazil. Their enrichment is a benefit. Iran’s political statement.
Double standard?
There is one. Israel reportedly had nuclear weapons. He never signed NPT. He’s not facing any sanctions.
Iran signed the agreement. Inspection, air strikes and economic suffocating face.
Nevertheless, Iran’s own behavior – confidentiality, enrichment levels and regional aggression (as claimed) continue to fuel the fire.
WORLD WATCHES
Iaea continues to raise red flags. Sanctions are tightened. The amounts stop.
Nevertheless, other nations with enrichment programs continue uninterrupted. Argentina refined. The Netherlands develops. Japan is innovating. But the spotlight never gets right.
Only Iran stands at the center of this nuclear storm. Enrichment of uranium, also enriching suspicion.
