Man Killed After Tanker Topples On BMW Car Near Keesara Toll Gate
NTR Region: In a tragic accident, a man was killed when a gas tanker overturned on his BMW car near Keeasra Toll Gate in Andhra Pradesh’s NTR District.
According to preliminary information, while the tanker was heading towards Hyderabad, it was stated that the driver lost control due to brake failure. The vehicle hit the barrier, overturned and was crushed under the weight of the car.
Security guards immediately informed the police who came to the scene. Rescue efforts were initiated with the help of JCB machines and cranes to lift the heavy tanker. The operation took about two hours to remove the body.
Meanwhile, traffic flow was seriously disrupted because the accident occurred right at the toll booth. A large crowd of onlookers had gathered, making police rescue efforts even more difficult.
The victim was identified as B. Srinivasa Rao, a lawyer from Hyderabad. He was reportedly returning to Hyderabad from Vijayawada when the unfortunate incident took place. The police then opened traffic and dispersed the crowd.
