The Save Big Splash group, formed by teenager Amelia Tattam, has collected more than 7,500 signatures calling for Crown’s lease to be terminated, the facility to be put into public hands and the site to be upgraded “with an aquatic facility at its centre”, including pools, lawns and waterslides.
