Husband who stabbed wife to death as she pushed their baby in pram jailed for 28 years

Habibur Masum, who stabbed his wife Kulsuma Akter while pushing his babies into a children’s car in April last year, was imprisoned in Bradford Crowncourt for at least 28 years.

He was arrested and Ms. Akter moved to the Bradford shelter by Oldham Social Services in January 2024 and decided to leave it.
Kulsuma ACTER’s family said in a statement: “Kulsuma was a beloved girl, sister, aunt and mother. The loss left a gap in the lives of all her family and friends.
