Hyderabad: Thousands Joined Bibi-Ka-Alam Procession

Haydarabad: On the 10th day of Muharrem, thousands of people gathered in Ashoorkhana in Dabeerpura (Youm-e-asura) took part in the Bibi-Ka-Alam regiment. Regiment began on a elephant from Dabeerpura and ended in Chaderghat.

Regiment Bibi-Ka-Alam started in Dabeerpura and passed through Yakutpura, Alija Kotla, Charminar, Purani Hirali and Darulshifa and ended around 20 o’clock in the Masjid-E-İlahi in Cherghat.
Haydarabad Police Commissioner CV Anand controlled the security arrangements to ensure that the procession progresses smoothly. Azmattullah Husseini, Chairman of the Foundation Board, attended the parade of GHMC commissioner RV Karnan and other Muslim community leaders.
