HYDRAA Clears Encroachments in Rajendranagar, Recovers Land Worth ₹139 Crore

Hyderabad: HYDRAA on Wednesday took back valuable government land by removing large-scale encroachments in Rajendranagar mandal.

According to officials, Hydraa cleared illegal structures in four park areas in Janachaitanya Settlement Plan Phases I and II in Budwel-Upparapally villages. The recovered land is 19,878 square meters in size and is valued at over ₹ 139 crore.

Residents of the area had complained to Hydera, stating that the park areas designated in the HUDA-approved Janachaitanya Scheme were being encroached upon. After a joint review with Internal Revenue Service and City officials, the task force confirmed the violations.

During the operation, Hydraa destroyed illegal shacks, complex walls and rooms built on plots of land of 3,000, 1,000 and 500 square meters each.

After the encroachments were cleared, fencing work was immediately initiated to protect the reclaimed park areas from future encroachments.
